About
Today is a good day to tell a little about myself. I love creating, whether it is making polymer clay jewelry, creating water color and or acrylic paintings, or planning a new art project for my elementary students. Creating is my passion.
I have been an elementary school art teacher for about fifteen years. Teaching my students is both challenging and rewarding. I love the innocence and candidness of children’s’ art, and looking at art through the eyes of children continues to keeps my outlook on art and life new and fresh.
I have only just begun my journey experimenting with and creating with polymer clay, and I really love it. Although I bought my first piece of polymer clay about 8 years ago, it was not until this past summer that I actually made something with it. Yes it was quite dry, hard and crumbly, but I reconditioned it by adding some TLC and a lot of elbow grease. Here is the pendant necklace I made with that first block.

Hey thanks MOM! You have always been one of my biggest supporters. What’s a girl to do without her Mom?
